Wendy graduated from the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003.
Previous to her studies, Wendy was a Physical Training Instructor in the Royal Air Force where she specialised in rehabilitation, prescribing remedial exercises to forces personnel who suffered from a variety of conditions including: sports injuries, postural problems and many work related injuries.
Wendy was an NVQ tutor at the Raworth Center, College of Natural Therapy and Sports Therapy, where she specialized in the tuition of Advanced Functional Anatomy, Clinical Management of Sports Injuries and Sports Pathology. Wendy was also the sports injury specialist to the Combined Services, Army and Welsh International Hockey team.
Wendy believes that her osteopathic system of diagnosis and
manual treatment achieves best results if it is practiced alongside a remedial exercise programme. This enables adjustments encouraged during osteopathic treatment to be maintained.
